In this 3-site trial (Overall PI: Blader), children with ADHD and aggression are first treated with stimulants and behavioral therapy. Non-responders to this initial treatment are randomized to receive risperidone, valproate or placebo for a 6-week trial. Our main hypothesis is that the two active drug conditions will be superior to placebo in reducing aggressive behaviors. |
