I divide my time between research, education and clinical activities. My research interests center around the following lines of inquiry: the investigation of impulse and mood disorders in children, the neurocognitive and neurobiological processes associated with learning disabilities and ADHD, and the phenotypical expression of Chromosome 18 abnormalities including co-morbid autism spectrum and behavioral disorders. I am actively involved with the medical education of first and second year medical students, psychiatry residents and Pre-doctoral psychology residents. My clinical practice is dedicated to children and adolescents with attention, learning, language and behavioral difficulties. Activities include comprehensive neurocognitive assessment and therapeutic interventions.
